K-Ci & JoJo are one of the most legendary R&B duos to ever exist. For one, “All My Life” is a timeless classic, which continues to be the soundtrack to weddings all across the world. Coming into fruition in 1996, the Monroe, North Carolina natives definitely left their stamp on the music industry — reminding folks how special 90’s R&B really was.
Now, JoJo Hailey makes his comeback by releasing his first ever single as a solo artist titled “Special.” Via him and his wife’s record label JT Entertainment, the new record arrives on Valentine’s Day reminding you that love really does exist.
King Ice caught up with JoJo Hailey, who was rocking a large chain for JT Entertainment.
What record label and the most iconic chain?
I’d say Death Row. Because you got Pac, you got Snoop, you got Dre. You got everybody on there! Definitely.

Were you guys rocking the big chains back in the day?
If we could afford them, we would rock them. [laughs] It came with territory. A fashion statement.
What’s the most expensive piece you own?
Manager: He wouldn’t know, because he wouldn’t buy them! Somebody else would...
Exactly, I didn’t actually go up to the store. But they were nice.
