Fredo Bang is the newest rapper to come out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Coming from the trenches, the 24-year-old today smiles through the pain, a closed book unless he’s in the studio. Through his music, he’s able to detail all his deepest thoughts and feelings.
Fredo is currently taking over the rap game, with motivation from his late best friend Gee Money. Unfortunately, he lost him while behind bars — which made Fredo really sit down and reevaluate his entire life. Now, the Def Jam signee unleashes his highly-anticipated tape titled Most Hated.
King Ice caught up with Fredo Bang at the Kandypens house in Los Angeles to discuss the ice on his neck and wrists.
Talk about your drip real quick. How much you got on?
I got Cuban link with this face, then Gee Money on the back. Then I got an AP, this one’s $50K. Cuban link bracelet.
What’s the most expensive piece of jewelry you own?
It’d probably be my Gee Money piece. I spent like $50K or $70K something.
What do you want your legacy to be?
I just want to be known for my music. That’s it. When somebody thinks about me, I want them to think about my music.
